This photo shows Robert and his great-grandson, Clovis, meeting for the first time. At the time, Robert was in a long-term care centre in Saint-Hyacinthe and, unfortunately, was living with dementia. His condition was quite advanced, and he was having difficulty recognizing his family members. But when Robert saw Clovis he got very emotional, he started to cry and wanted to hold the baby. He was brimming with affection and emotion, he cuddled with Clovis, comforting him when he fussed. The moment of tenderness that Robert and his great-grandson shared was a beautiful gift to his family and will remain in their memory for a long time.
